So what you are saying is I don't have a good option for rear surrounds using Magnepan speakers. That's a bummer.
However, isn't a sub less localized than higher frequency speakers? If I put a sub for the rears in the back corner, I wonder if you could really tell where the bass was coming from. You normally can't hear where bass located, it's just "there". No?
When you talk about the benefits of dual subwoofer system, what are you referring to if not one for the rears and one for the fronts? I thought that was how it was done. Obviously I'm no expert on the perfect setup, but I do love the benefits of a well done home theater system.
