RE: Are 20,7's too big...

Too big is more a question of function and cost. All of the Maggies are bargains, IMO. The 20.7 should go lower bass-wise, but when augmented with a good sub the 3.7i Maggies are more cost effective if integration is achievable.

I have the 3.7i model. My room is slightly larger than 20x20 with a 18 foot (approx.) vaulted ceiling, but I also have HT considerations. For setting up and positioning the Mye stands I was assisted by A/V specialist John Fort. Since this photo was taken I've switched to a 16:9 Supernova screen on a sliding rail to correct viewing cone issues.

Sound wise this system is glorious (Mod-Wright Oppo BDP-95, Audible Illusions L3 pre-amp, Sanders Magtech amp, Hsu Reseach ULS-15 front firing sub, Mye stands), and a fuller review is forthcoming as time permits, that's a promise! Note: I've edited this for clarity and to provide a bit more info. on gear.

Cheers,
AuPh
