I don't think there's much point in trying to get concise answers from Wendell on any topic. :)
He's clearly not correct with regard to the "used" MMG question. A poster noted below that he bought a set used from the factory, and I bought my second set of MMG's that way as well a couple of years ago.....so I know of what I speak. That's why I mentioned it in the thread below. :)
No, I don't think you have a second-order crossover. It's most likely a first-order design and the second capacitor is shunted with the other to create a non-standard value. If it really is a second-order design then Wendell is wrong again claiming no changes to the MMG xover.
