I posted a while ago here(and elsewhere on the asylum)about my disastrous experience buying a pair of esl63''s on eBay.
They were local collection, but I thought it best not to hear them on pick up due to the time taken to power them up and unpower them (I thought they needed to power off for a while before handling, but maybe I wrong)and also, hey I've got paypal protection is something goes wrong.
Well, a lot went wrong, but it turns out that paypal won't cover you if you collect the item.(its a newer policy). Not only that, but as I lodged my dispute via paypal, I cant (well, have not worked out how to yet)open another case through eBay. Of course, it might be eBay policy also to not cover things that are local pickup once collected
