Yes, I listened to, then bought, wrapped in bubble wrap, secured in back of truck and drove 300 miles. Transporting caused stators on both speakers to loosen (glue let go).
My conclusion was the glue had decomposed and would have eventually let go even if I hadn't transported them.
Repair was tedious, but not difficult. I have posted about the repair, used 3M marine adhesive. The choice was a guess, original glue was also polyurethane, and I thought the glue would be better if it was flexible.
