NAD T748 enough power for magnepan MMG?

Hi Folks,
I just posted a similar message to the general forum before realizing I should probably direct it here. Sorry for the cross post!

So I've been seduced by the Magnepan MMG price and reviews. I've sold off my separates (adcom preamp, Rotel RB-981 amp, Martin Logan scenario speakers) so that I can buy an AV receiver and a pair of Maggies.

I'm on a tight budget, and I'm looking at the NAD T748 receiver. I've been reading that the Maggies are pretty power hungry.

My question: will an 80 WPC (40 with all channels driven) be able to drive the MMG's? I'd like to sell my Rotel amp, but could keep it to biamp the speakers if I had to.
