RE: My First Maggies

There are a few things that could cause the initial deficient sound. At least you are getting some sounds. (Is it the same character from each Maggie?( Try swapping the channels out of the Pioneer, just in case.)

I do agree with you...take them socks off and let's have a look. There are a few reasons for this, which includes checking out a long-stored pair of Mylar sheets and associated trace wires.

One other reason is that you might as well get familiar with the innards of the Maggies because...

...the darn bi-amping crowd here is already beginning to preach their rotten gospel!

...LOL, a gospel which I also spread, to which I've adhered even before I got my MMGs, and which makes them sound like a million.

But first, let's check out and fix the basics...THEN we have enough in store for you to start the real fun!
