Thanks for the suggestions my friends. Handling a soldering iron is no problem having worked at a military contractor years ago I was Nasa and Mil certified and I still use an iron at my current job at times. The issue for me was i was just looking for opinions as I mentioned the tech support at Bic told me he does this all the time. I got a deal on the sub but I was hoping for plug and play. Using the High level inputs I would have to either make or purchase another set of my above average cables which kinda outweighs the cost paid and I still don't like putting this between the amp and speakers. And the low cost of the RCA jacks and resistors which I can get from work is a low cost option as mentioned but honestly this is becoming more trouble than its worth. I'll look closer next time before jumping on a deal and I guess this baby will find a new home. thanks my friends.
