RE: HK/Limage

It should work in your room well enough. The proportions are good. You can try the arrangement on the short wall.

Start by swapping the speakers to tweeters in and pull them 6' into the room to start. Place the bass side of the speaker 10-11" from the sidewall perpendicular to it. Move the listening chair to the back of the room 1-2' from the back wall.
Work out toe in, if any, after you are done optimizing the distance to the front wall, the distance to the sidewalls and listening seat position.

Work your speakers toward the listening seat along the sidewalls in 1" increments till the soundstage detaches from the speakers and center images are positioned in line with the ones on the sides or a bit forward.
If the center images remain recessed then you will need some diffusion between the speakers and the front wall/rack (fake ficus or a more creative "plant" will work).
There should be a segment from a bit forward of 6' to 9' from the front wall that will have the deepest and tightest bass. As you bring the bass panel closer to the side wall there should be a warming up of the speaker's tone.

Generally, the tweeter is at its best at about 3' from the wall
