Alternative to "spacers" for repair to Ribbon Tweeters on the 20.7

Does anybody have any suggestions as an alternative for the "spacers" supplied in the tweeter repair kit? I have tried to no avail in contacting Magnepan by phone in hopes of getting a repair kit with the "spacers" but I do have the tweeter foils necessary for the repair job. I would need to have the tweeter repaired by July the 1st since I am expecting the designer for my tonearm to fine tune my table setup and without both channels working that's not possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
