Review of Magnepan 3.7i by Absolute Sound

It is in the 4/1/1914 by Chris Martens : This is my take:
The truth is the speaker did need some correcting. I listened to for an hour and a half at Lyric in NYC with the Half Moon electronics(very expensive) and found a slight bias to brightness in the upper middle. I listened mostly to opera organ and orchestra. To Magnepan's credit as evidence, by the review they seemed to address this issue of a tight strained sound on some cd's. I did not hear the speakers with a record player where I doubt if they would have exhibited any problem...If gthe review is accurate I would jump at the upgrade...I expect to buy the speakers in the fall....
