when feeding the crown with the second output from my previous (beresford)dac, i had the volume controlled dac output at 10:00, and the crown also @ 10:00, which was pretty much max before becoming over-the-top, the other out/line level sent to the pre/a3cr/mains. i assume the output w/volume control out from the dac was buffered/active?
