The article is a good read, although I don't agree with this statement (on the linked page):

"Absorbers, diffusers and electronic room equalization will change the sound, but these are only remedies to an improperly designed loudspeaker."

I have noticed on his forum that a few folks have added room treatments to their Linkwitz speakers, for improved performance, so I guess even his design needs help.

I do agree with his credit to the new KEF LS50, as I am enjoying my pair very much. :)
