Both prices seem high to me. I purchased my rebuilt IIIas in 2007 as well but for $700 plus shipping. I purchased another set of IIIas that weren't rebuilt for $600 which I picked up locally and had to spend an additional $50 for the midrange rebuild kit. After checking on eBay, looks like my IIIas went up in value.
