1. Replace the internal Monster cable stat. It will be horribly oxidized if still there
2. Bypass the fuse. I never had any trouble driving them with 450 watt VTL amps
3. Replace factory burlap socks with tightly stretched spandex for better top end response
4. Use a laser pointer to establish perfect speaker alignment/toe in
5. Give panels a good heat treatment
