RE: terminology

I wouldn't try to analyze the electrical transfer functions of crossover networks too much. Most often these are not "textbook" and are adjusted to fit the acoustic target. You can't make a solid conclusion on what the actual acoustic crossover is based on just looking at the electrical networks. (You'll be in the ball park though.)

If your objective is to duplicate a Magnepan acoustic transfer function then you have to either make an actual electrical reading on the transducer(s) drive terminals or you have to perform a computer simulation knowing all the parameters of the existing crossover components, transducer impedance, etc, etc.
