I certainly don't know how well it will integrate, but my experience with them in multiple rooms is that they substantially increase the mid and upper bass and the lower midrange. I am not sure they do much at 400, but they definitely can be set up to accentuate 250.
Indeed their response is substantially more dramatic at 250 than 50.
