RE: How often do you see someone admit to that in an audiphile forum?

I'm not in love with any particular format. Vinyl has a certain (organic?) quality to it that can be just lovely. Digital can offer a signal to noise ratio that analog can only envy. But ya know... the best sounding playback medium I have used as a consumer is VHS HiFi. I plugged a VHS player up to listen to a couple of concert videos I haven't heard for too long and it was as I remembered... just wonderful sounding. And the analog board in that thing is pretty pathetic really. I never had a quality real to real deck. But what good is that if you want to play the latest Tom Waits release? I suppose it's easy enough to use all of them to archive music on.

Worry not for the suicidal admission. I'll take an equal share of the disapproval so you won't be alone on neaderthal island. It's not so bad. I hear the beaches are quite nice.
