I haven't heard the Innersound but I have owned 1.6's and currently own LFT-8b's and I think the ET's are a better speaker than the 1.6's in every way and I don't find them hard to drive. They do require 100 watts or more but the Maggies do as well. I'm driving my ET's with an Audio Research 100.2 with great results.
