RE: Magnepan 1.7 high frequency harshness

These should do fine. Perhaps Mart can find a way to append your input to Al's. This way others can find it easily.

BTW, I had the same problem when looking for the original ones a few years ago. While I waited for the Mouser backorder to be filled, I tried other types of chokes (same value). None worked. They were of the toroidal type (donut-shape). I never saw the one you found!
