Anyhow thanks for the link. I had used dynamat in my old velo sub say 14 years ago and I can tell you that it helped tremendously.
FWIW I switched from the dynamat to the cascade product as it is black and easier to work with. Though it is not as thick as the dynamat extreme.
On the maggies there are little holes that one shouldnt cover and since air moves through them I thought a thinner material would be best.
Though for the frame thicker is probably better. How does roadkill stack up to dampliner?
Bottom line the difference in the "dynamat" product has little bearing vs. not having anything to absorb the vibrations.
