I think that it's the perfect amp for Maggies. I've used mine on smg a s.Tympanies(1D and IVa), IIIa s,3.3s,3.5s,1.6s and 3.6s. It provides a bit of tube sound for a great deal less $ than a pair of 300 watt tube mono blocks and it shouldn't clip. I had a friend who was blaming his 3.6 s because he was always blowing ribbons with a Bryston (the 250 wpc model). He switched to a Sunfire and hasn't blown a tweeter since.
