This wire is made primarily for the military and aerospace industries, as it allows Teflon insulation to be applied without corroding the copper. It has high conductivity for RF, so it supports RF resonances in cables made from it, and transmits RF noise very well. Because of this property, it has a reputation for sounding bright.
There are some cables made from it with measures to ameliorate this problem. Skywire cables are one brand. Otherwise, be prepared to apply your own fixes.
