1. You get the full tweeter. Comes in a protective PVC tube.
2. You will be charged for it. Normally they charge for the repair, the core and shipping. You have time to return the core for credit.
3. In effect you can. Fail to return the core and you will not be reimbursed for it. If you need one then you can order two and keep the unused one. I would not know how Magnepan looks on that. I get the impression that they discourage doing this but I don't know that.
