I am aware of the technical merits of the DEQX, but my budget precludes the choice of such a premium product. I'll be fine with a more pedestrian device, even if it isn't the best. With that in mind, and the possibility that my intuition is correct, the Ashly 2001 intrigues me. It is 24dB/octave, but affords control of the slope in the immediate vicinity of the crossover frequency.
I'd like a 3-way crossover solution for my hybrids - suggestions welcome. The idea of a fully adjustable (yeah, I know, no correction - but, at the price point I'm considering, I want to keep it analog) device is very appealing.
