question about XO slopes and junior Maggies

68.1.131.10

I am aware of the technical merits of the L-R XO arrangement, but is such a steep slope a proper fit for the smaller Maggies with a single sheet of Mylar? Intuition tells me that an XO with gentle slopes and a fair amount of overlap is the ideal arrangement, but my intuition has failed me more than once with these speakers.
