Yes, their product line has been successful - and they are a) still in business and b) will repair/refurbish 30-yr old models. Which is exemplary! :-))
But Magnepan have never in the past contributed to the Planar Asylum - so why the contact now? Could it be that the GFC has affected their sales more than they would like and would've believed? So they come to us Planar inmates - as we are an identified, pro-Magnepan user base - to seek information which might help them survive?
But that's simply "taking" ... surely if they "gave" (ie. answers to us) as well, they'd receive better information?

PS: And BTW - who's Mr Phelps? The guy wot offers Tom Cruise the assignments he can choose (or not - yeah, right! :-)) ) to accept?
