Dynamic Range and MMG's

Over in High Efficiency I was posting electrical dynamic of CD signals. This past morning I did an acoustical measurement:

The MMG's are swallowing lots of power to get the 113dB peak output at my listen position - still impressive output from these little miracles - even pushing 800+ watts peak through them.

Whoa to those of you using lesser amplification and cranking your maggies.
