You can measure transducer vibrations by placing the microphone very close to the transducer surface...about 1/4 inch...and then exciting the driver with impulsive signals.
You can measure vibrations in/on the baffle structure by attaching an accelerometer to the surfaces at various points.
I did quite a bit of this when I was fiddle-farting around with the MMG oak-framed replacements. I modified one MMG and left the other one stock to view the relative differences.
Caution. You may not like what you see when performing tests like these. :) The Magnepan transducers store a considerable amount of energy relative to other, more conventional, electro-acoustic transducers.
