Thanks for your posts. But I will have to open up the back of the panels to access the original XO parts so I could start with experimental soldering in the new caps. I'll have to remove the original parts anyway, how do I access them without doing too much damage to the socks?

I want to keep the original outboard XO for now. How about new cabling?
