You might be OK.
I have a similiar sized room and have been using my Anthem Amp1 which is rated at 40wpc.
It does run out of steam and I have had it clip on occasion. My volume control maxs out sometimes which is pretty much at the top of the amps range anyhow.
I would recommend more power, unless you know that you will be in that room for a long time. The sub will help if you do it right, but subs are hard enough to blend with maggies and IMHO even harder when restricting the range the mags see. Lets say you use a crossover to restrict the maggies to say 80hz...great for your amp but now you have 2 crossovers interacting and might not get the best blend.
I could be wrong, but I think if there is a consenses on subs with maggies, the best results are running the speaker full range and using the sub to augment the lower ranges.
NOw, if you are getting an active crossover and plan to mod the mmgs for biamping, then this amp might actually work if you get two of them and hack up your speakers.
Anyhow, have you tried listening with the windows open? I found that opening the windows behind my maggies really improved the sound. If your neighbors won't mind, give it a shot.
