James Tanner from Bryston has 1.6's in his home and has run them with virtually every amp Bryston has, 2B to 28B. I personally believe the new Bryston SST amps deliver a great dollar value in a class AB amp. My advice would be buy as much Bryston power as you can afford. I am sure the 4BSST would sound great with your 1.6's.
