Hey Jim,

I haven't experimented much, and what I did, I have forgotten.

Sorry. But it probably depends on whether you keep the crossover legs connected as the stock does.

I have them totally separate so if I didn't bi-wire, either the highs or the bass would be missing....so I guess in my case, bi-wiring makes a huge difference :)
