Re: ok; see now..another question

The screws came with the tv mount. They were large carriage bolts with plastic expanding inserts. I got a masonry drill bit and drilled directly into the brick. The brick masonry is strong enough that I didn't worry about hitting a stud. The TV is a 50" Visio, and it's HEAVY, supposedly one of heaviest 50"ers out there, so I took my time. Lifting it into the mount is definitely a two person job. A friend of mine did his 65" Plasma and that was a 4-person job...:)

Given the weight of the display I wanted to make sure I used what came with the kit, which was rated up to 160lbs. The tilting is nice too, because it points the TV directly at me. Given that it's mounted above eye level, this makes a nice difference.

Yeah, the windows aren't ideal, but I like to have the lighting and be able to look outside. I figure having the blinds helps some.
