Found the roller bearing tweak removes reaction forces from inducing strain-enerhy vibrations in boxes. I'd rather stiffen the steel panel instead. Right now I just have a 2"x4" leaning against the center of the back just to quiet it down a tad. The added stability to the motor structure restores a great deal of the dynamics plane;ls lose, IMHO. One day I'll get around to removing the sock & apply veneer to deaden the vibrations & several lateral hardwood half-rounds for stiffness.
