Quick and detailed Amp for Magneplanar 20.1 or Warm & Relaxed?

Magneplanars tend to sound smoother dynamically more laid back with less bite, precision and attack compared to good cone speakers. This is true even of the 20.1 which sounds the most dynamic of all Magneplanars.

Any suggestions as to whether the MG20.1 will respond well to an ultra transparent amplifier with lightning reflexes like the Goldmund Telos 400? Perhaps such an amp will help the 20.1 pick up its pace and sound really dynamic.

On the other hand, such a fast amp may make the 20.1 sound out of character, and a more laid back amp like the Pass Labs X350.5 will be more suitable. I have heard the 20.1 through tubes and they sound gorgeous but slow and not so well defined.

I realise the X350.5 is not the most laid back of amps, and more dynamic than the XA series, but the Goldmund is the quickest gun in the amplifier world.

Thanks for the input.
