What about the tone quality from these amps. As you and I both know OTLs give a very natural tone quality that in my experience gets closer to what I hear live. I would not be willing to sacrifice this for "cleaner" sound because my experience with Class D amps is that they sound very transparent and sometimes even a bit soft but do not have natural tone. I will be interested to hear your long term impressions.
