I use the 6E5P, which is very similar to the 6E6P with a different pinout, in my two stage Midlife Crisis amps, triode strapped with UF4007 plus 200R, and it sounds great at 190V and 26mA. It's direct-coupled to an 833C in a mu-follower configuration. Details here if interested:
