If you have the space in your chassis, you can remove the parafeed cap, plate CCS, and the LL1674 output transformer and use an LL1660/10mA or LL1692A/10mA in their place. In this case you might also want to shoehorn in a shunt regulator and get rid of all of that RC filtration in both channels. BUT, you should also install the upgrade. It makes a heck of a difference!
