Tube Tape Head Pre Amp

Good evening all,

I want to add a Transformer to my tube tape head pre amp. The impedance of the playback tape head is 30 ohms which is rather low. Presently, the tech who is building the pre amp asked me to see what info I could find regarding what to purchase and where to purchase this transformer. Our problem is high levels of hiss using (2) 12AX7's as amplifiers. We believe that changing the circuit to permit us to put in a transformer at the input will lower the hiss level and still provide awesome sound. Can anyone give me a place to start. Thanks all.
