There is a mains transformer in the Lundahl constellation that has some of what you propose in your "desert island" transformer and that is the LL1669A. I have used it successfully when I needed an integral supply for minus volts.

I will pass on your requests, but I think that the cost of making a production run of the two transformers cover for so few potential sales will doom its introduction. Due to their cost, we just don't sell many power transformers, and therefore would sell far fewer covers.
