So If I read the data sheet right that connection E would give me roughly 3k:40. With an Ra of ~800 output impedance would be (800+164 || 3000)/79 +3 = 729/79 +3 = 12. Damping factor would be roughly 3 which should be fine for the ortho headphones which have a relatively flat impedance curve. Was that your concern with lack of firmness?

I am not concerns about that more concerned with the insertion loss, will this give a loss of detail vs a custom wind, these are rather large transformers . Is this the best model for me ?
