I`m really surprised about the transparent, dynamic and very good overall sound of my parafeed output stage with a LL7903, wired 1:2.
Since I don`t really need such a high output level (and distortions should be even less), I would like to ask if I can wire this transformer for a 1:1 ratio.
When I look at the datasheet, this should be possible by wiring the two primaries for each coil in series and the secondaries all together in parallel. Connections, according to datasheet, would then be L2 for primaries and R1 for secondaries. Does anyone out there has some experience with this connection, is it possible? Are there disadvantages, because it`s not listed under the datasheet suggestions, nor could I find something about this topic on the net.
