Hi, I just wanted to add that the RAKK DAC I power supply that I used was modified with a larger PS transformer and extra filter caps as seen in photo. The DAC does occasionally loose lock and experience drop-outs. This could be due to loss of regulation in the shunt regulator used with the original PS. The latest series regualated PS could be implimented on two perf-boards and be mounted vertically as I did. The circuit is not too complex and forgoing the PC board would not be too much of a pain. -JT
