For the record I built John a two input line stage using the latest Raleigh Audio Active Output Stage Kit and a custom LL1676 input transformer implementation to facilitate the low gain he needs. It has switchable gain (+1dB or +7dB). John's line stage was built in the Extreme RAKK dac chassis with a custom back panel.
It's worth noting that we intentionally haven't introduced a line stage preamp kit, because of the wide diversity of input/output and control requirements. However, we don't mind custom orders that fit within reasonable boundaries, either for kits or assembled units.
