Thank you very much Kevin! The information you have given me for the PSU Sounds very attractive, I also have a preference for LCLC filters, as they just look right on the “paper” it is certainly something I'll have to do on the Tubelabse.
As for the OPT, it is also a bit of a surprise since I have always seen (the more expensive) LL1620, LL1623, LL1627 in 300b Set designs of similar characteristics, do these offer better performance than the LL1664?
And if not so, would you recommend the LL1664 with amorphous core?
I am looking to build the best amp possible within my limits and with the best possible bass extension.
I plan on operating the 300B within the Tubelab specs: more or less 360V to 400V for a 3K OPT and 60 to 75 mA bias.
