Frog UK,

Thanks for the information. I do have a SB2 that has the full Bolder Cable modification and power supply. A couple years back when I got the SB I compared it running directly into my amps and with the RAKK DAC MkI I in the chain. At that time I found that running the SB directly into the amp, while not necessarily better or worse, was the way I went.

Now with the RAKK DAC MkII it sounds like the differences would make it worthwhile to add it. The question I have is for those that have heard both DACs, what type of improvement did they hear.

As far as output stages is concerned, I'm not going with the K&K active output stage, because I have a Bottlehead Foreplay III that I can use for that purpose.
