Hi Dave,

Eight TDA1543s will give you about 20mA 0dBFS, which should be plenty to allow some voltage gain. Your only problem is that the chip is single-ended so the RAKK dac passive output is not a good choice because the transformers would saturate. I'm sure that Lundahl makes a single-ended transformer that would work but I don't know what it is. I suggest that you call Kevin and talk to him about your application and perhaps he can suggest an appropriate transformer.
