Let me know how that breadboarding progresses, as I am also not sure exactly what the individual stages will look like. Could go with lots of CCS's, could go choke loading, interstage vs. DC coupling, all still up in the air. I have my tendencies, but they are based on engineering guess, not the ears.

Fortunately, regardless of which method I choose, the power supply is essentially the same. That's where I'm at right now: getting the parts going for power supplies, filament power, chassis, etc. Once that is completed, the breadboarding and testing of various topologies is much easier.
