Agreed with Kevin and C.B. about the use of solid copper from cheap building wire. There are a number of ways to physically install and route based on grounding preference, but a big bus such as this will be very forgiving of any of those methods. Either silver plating or tinning the bus with solder prior to installation would be a good idea, as it helps keep oxidation down and allows for easier soldering later on.

IME, unless you have a hefty soldering iron, stick to #14 or smaller. That #12 is great stuff, but I also have 150W and 300W soldering irons. If your solder doesn't flow within 3-4 seconds, consider it too little heat. Experiment.

BTW, I'm also slowly building Karna monoblocks with amorphous Lundahl. Will take probably 2-3 years to complete. Be patient: measure twice / cut once, calculate twice / build once.
